Welcome to the local people section. This is a relatively revolutionary section for an internet guide of this kind. However we feel that this section helps in promoting local people and giving visitors a chance to meet some of the people on the island.
This section attempts to present some of the local people of Naxos, that we feel that "represent" the local character.
The "Maitos" ladies
Well known by all locals, Elisabeth, her husband and children have a lovely food and snacks place called "Braziliana". Variety of snacks, good food and very good prices too. This is a place you MUST visit! ps. I am a regular there! ;-)
Lisa & Guy
Guy and Lisa are some of the non-Greeks who live on Naxos permanently. They run "Petalouda Art Gallery" and they also participate in many international exhibitions around Europe. If you are an art lover you should definitely visit their gallery.
Stratos, Debbie, Gabriella
Stratos and Debbie are the owners of the mexican restaurant "Picasso". Here with their daughter Gabriella, have been serving their very nice dishes of Mexican food since 1996. The restaurant is certainly worth a visit!
