There have been a lot of updates since last year but very little time to document everything. A new 'chat room' area has now been created along with an accommodation review section.

Various updates have been made to website until now but did not have enough time to put it in the 'what is new list. Some of the latest changes were a Google Map of Naxos, and updates to the 'Meet the Locals' section.

First plans for website's future are being drafted. New functionality and material are slowly being collected towards transforming the website to a more comprehensive and interactive entity.

LIVE Visitor Communication Service is introduced (pilot project) to enhance communication between Naxos-Greece.NET and its visitors. The new service aims to provide visitors with direct service and immediate responses to requests.
Naxos-Greece.NET is mentioned in various magazines and tourist publications abroad. New co-operations start with Dutch and UK Tour Operators. We are currently using multiple high-speed internet connections on the backbones of Cogent, Qwest, Level3, EPik and GigE, to provide quick access, flexibility and support for the growing popularity of Naxos-Greece.NET.
30-March-2004:
Naxos-Greece.NET has had several updates during the last few months. A new map is now being used in the Weather section and the Rooms and Hotels sections have also been updated.
10-Sept-2003:
Naxos-Greece.NET has been featured in National Greek Newspaper "TA NEA" and the website popularity grows more and more, reaching 300000 hits per month.
15-June-2003:
The 'How to go' section was updated and link to real-time arrivals and departures at Athens International Airport has been included. The same link has also been put on the main page for the new web=page to become more visible.
Naxos-Greece.NET's developer will be leaving soon to do his national service. When that happens, emails sent to info@naxos-greece.net will not be replied as soon as before. In fact it may take a while for emails to be replied. The same applies to site updates. But we'll try our best to keep everything up to date.

The main page was slightly modified to best promote some of the new sections of the website.
'Live WebCam' section and 'Private properties for Sale' sections were added to the website. Many thanks to Flisvos Sportsclub for giving us permission to use their camera.
21-May-2003:
The Maps section has been updated. An interactive map was added as well as two more maps, one of the island and one of Cyclades.
A special section for accommodation bookings is now being designed with a view towards becoming a central location for booking accommodation on Naxos.
4-May-2003:
'Message Board' section is now ready, much earlier than anticipated. We hope you like it. Please use it effectively, and remember to always be polite. :-) Thank you. Please let us know if you like its features.
A live chat room was also suggested, but your input is required on this. Do you think you'd like to chat live on the internet with other people interested in Naxos ? Let us know.

Section 'Art Gallery' was added.
This weekend is a historic moment for Naxos-Greece.NET. The website is moving onto a datacenter using 5 different backbones.
The website will be now using the backbones of Cogent, Qwest, Level3, EPik and GigE, providing quick access, flexibility and support for the growing popularity of Naxos-Greece.NET.
11-April-2003:
Web service might be disrupted for some visitors as Naxos-Greece.NET is getting ready to move from NTT/Verio's datacenter to Level3's network. The move is considered essential for dealing with the growing popularity of Naxos-Greece.NET.
It is hoped that the transition period will be as short as possible.
4-April-2003:
Sections 'Beaches', 'Internet Cafe' and 'Villages' have been populated with some content, while a new dynamic layout is under construction for these sections.
The 'useful info' section as well as the 'maps' section has been updated to link to a map of Chora Naxos that presents the important locations within the town, such as the hospital, the police station, etc.
"Naxos ScreenSaver" has been added in the 'Links' section. The screensaver consists of a slideshow (containing some Photo Gallery 2 pictures) accompanied by music composed by the local band of 'Parifes'.
It's been decided that Naxos-Greece.NET will be moving onto the network of Level3 by the end of next month.

Following the server migration onto a new Data Centre Naxos-Greece.NET reached over 175000 hits during January 2003. Naxos-Greece.NET is now the busiest and most popular guide to Naxos.
September-2003:
Naxos-Greece.NET is recognised locally and is featured in local newspaper.
25 August 2002:
Currently about 33000 hits per month, and already one of the busiest guides to Naxos. Due to too much traffic the website is moved to one of the datacenters of NTT/Verio.
18 August-2002:
Final website design and information collection is coming to an end. It's not been easy to collect everything along side with every-day life's tasks during the last 12 months.
August-2001:
